The Karvil 500L horizontal ribbon mixer is built for efficient and uniform blending of refractory powders and additives. With stainless steel contact parts (SS304) and a sturdy carbon steel frame, it combines durability with safe, contamination-free processing.
The mixing shaft is driven by a variable speed motor (0–46 r/min) with inverter control, allowing fine adjustment for different material types. PTFE packing seals provide reliable shaft sealing to prevent leakage during operation.
To meet the demands of formulations that require liquid addition, the mixer is fitted with a spray system featuring two nozzles and a 1.5 kW pump. A safety grid and dust collector are included to ensure a clean and secure working environment.
For easy discharge and transfer, the unit uses a side outlet with a manual butterfly valve, feeding into a 30 L stainless steel hopper with a cover. From there, a screw conveyor lifts materials up to 2 meters, making it ideal for integration with downstream equipment such as packaging or molding systems.
